The Dubai Health Authority has announced it has exempted new applicants from passing health license tests including electronic and verbal tests for 20 different medical specialities. The Authority issued a Circular saying applicants looking to work in the sector are temporarily exempted from these tests. The private health sector welcomed the measures which are aimed at increasing the number of health workers in the sector while preserving patient safety.The exempt specialities include A&E, family, Anaesthesia and general medicine practitioners.
