Schools Will Not Reopen

Oman’s Supreme Anti-Coronavirus Committee has announced schools will not reopen in this academic year and the lock down in Muscat Governorate will be extended to 29 May. 7 May will be the last day of the current school year. The Education Ministry has been authorised to find a suitable alternative to calculate results for promotion classes from one to 12 classes and their equivalents. The lock down has been extended until 10:00 pm on 29 May. The Committee added everyone should continue to comply with the anti-Coronavirus measures. Full story
