A “digital portfolio” will be put in place following the signing of an agreement on May 5, 2020, bringing together the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Central Bank of Tunisia, the Tunisian Post Office, Monétique Tunisie, the Association Tunisian Professional of Banks and Financial Institutions and the IT Center of the Ministry of Finance.
The distribution of social assistance will therefore be computerized in order to allow Tunisians to receive and transfer money. This will prevent mass regrouping within post offices, bank branches, etc.
