Bahrain’s Labour and Social Development Minister has confirmed flexible work permits help reconcile the situations of many illegal workers in the Kingdom. He said the Parliamentary recommendation to cancel the flexible work permit is not in line with the law and will have a negative impact. He said the Law is an integral part of Bahrain Law No. 19/2009 and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority cannot suspend or cancel the permits. Full story
