Mosque Prayers Are Not Allowed

Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Ministry has denied rumours the suspension of Friday and congressional prayers during Ramadan has been lifted. The Ministry responded after social media reports suggesting the a date for lifting the suspension had been decided.Mosques are still being cleaned, sterilised and maintained as the Kingdom continues to tackle Coronavirus. Only the Two Holy Mosques are open for Friday and congregational prayers providing there are only a limited number of attendees. Many people have converted their living rooms into prayer areas to perform obligatory and special Ramadan prayers because of the suspension of prayers in mosques. Full story
