Dubai Government and Human Resources Ministry Reduce Ramadan Working Hours

The Dubai Government’s Human Resources Department has issued a Circular announcing the Ramadan working hours for its employees. Employees of Government bodies and departments will work for five hours from 9am to 2pm except for departments where their work dictates different arrangements. The Circular also states these entities must implement anti-Coronavirus measures. Elsewhere, the UAE’s Human Resources and Emiratisation Ministry has issued a Ministerial Decision reducing the working hours for all private sector employees by two hours during Ramadan.
