Lock Down Changes Announced

Egypt’s Prime Minister has announced some of the country’s lock down measures are going to be relaxed. The lock down was introduced to tackle Coronavirus in the country. The night time curfew is going to start at 9pm instead of 8pm. However it will still end at 6am and mosques will stay closed. The law courts and vital Government services including contract certification and car licensing and registration will also start returning next week and shops and malls will be able to open throughout the week. Currently they can just open between Sunday and Thursday. In addition, restaurants and cafes will be able to reopen, but only for takeaway and home delivery services. However, the relaxed measures will be kept under review and offenders will be punished. Full story
