Distance Learning Edict Issued

Bahrain’s Education Minister has issued an Edict on distance learning. It states all public schools will adopt distance learning while physical study is prohibited during Coronavirus in the Kingdom. Schools also have to adopt exceptional assessment systems and ensure students’ rights to education and learning are upheld. In addition, they must link learning with continuous assessments to enable students to move on to higher grades. Teachers will have to mark assignments they give to students online and keep records. As well as online assessments, students can email their assignments, send them through WhatsApp and report to schools to present paper answers. Full story
