Public and Private Working Hours During Ramadan Announced

Qatar’s Council of Ministers has announced the Ramadan working hours for the public and private sectors.

Those working in the public sector will have to work from 9am to 1pm. Those working in the private sector will have to work from 9am to 3pm.

Among others, shops who sell food and supplies, pharmacies, restaurants offering delivery services and contractors will be exempt.

In addition, the existing exemptions announced by the Council of Minister on working hours will continue to apply.
