Lock Down Extended

The Kuwaiti Government has announced it has extended the lock down for 16 hours from the first day of Ramadan. It will now run from 4.00 pm until 8.00 am. In addition the national holiday will now end on 28 May. It was originally scheduled to end on 26 April. Those who violate the isolation or lock down rules will be named and shamed by the Interior and Information Ministries. Government and private institutions will now reopen on 31 May. Full story
