Abu Dhabi’s Economic Development Department has announced employers can repatriate expatriates who are over 50. The Department will facilitate their travel but the employer must pay the travel costs. Business owners must provide detailed information to the Department about employees nominated for travel.Employers should grant them indefinite leave during this process so as their numbers can be calculated and their travel destination determined.
