Saudi Arabia’s Directorate General of Traffic has announced drivers will be able to renew their licenses electronically. The renewals will be able to be done through the Absher platform. Both expatriates and nationals will be able to use this service. It follows an announcement earlier this week that the requirement for Vehicle Periodic Inspection certificates for renewing vehicle registration had been waived. Full story
