Sharjah’s Economic Development Department has announced employees working in manual occupations cannot leave Sharjah or enter from other Emirates. The restrictions have been introduced as the Emirate continues to tackle Coronavirus. The Circular issued by the Department also restricts inter-Emirate travel and labour camps have been urged to maintain the highest health and safety measures. Violators will have administrative penalties imposed on them. Employee transport should reduce their capacity by 50% and ensure those it is transporting wear masks and keep a safe distance with other passengers when getting in and out of vehicles. Full story
