Emirates and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will be introducing additional precautions for those taking its flights. Passengers on a flight to Tunisia have all been tested for COVID-19 before departing from Dubai. Emirates is the first airline to introducet on-site rapid COVID-19 tests of passengers. A blood test was conducted by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and results were available within 10 minutes. This test was carried out at the Group Check-in area ofthe Dubai International Airport Terminal . The airline are now working on plans to scale up testing capabilities and extend it to other flights, in order to enable them to conduct on-site tests and provide immediate confirmation for Emirates passengers travelling to countries that require COVID-19 test certificates
