The Dubai Health Authority announced that it is set to begin using blood plasma from recovered coronavirus patients to treat critical COVID-19 cases, after the UAE announced the adoption of this treatment method. Younis Kazim, CEO of Dubai Healthcare Corporation said that specialised doctors from the DHA put in place protocols for using convalescent plasma therapy based on international standards and outlined rules & guidelines for plasma donors & eligible recipients.
