Using Cash to Pay for Deliveries Prohibited

The Municipality and Rural Affairs Minister acting minister Majed Alhakil has approved a temporary health requirements charter for home delivery services. The charter includes daily checks on delivery staff and prohibits the use of cash in payments when conducting these services. In addition, all deliveries should be handed over from two meters away. The ministry has said this charter is applicable on the home delivery services offered by restaurants and fast food shops and those provided by central markets, grocery shops and delivery personnel of registered electronic applications. The charter also prohibits the delivery of prohibited or dangerous materials, and deliveries where the business and the address are over 45 minutes away
