The prime minister and minister of Interior, chaired a session for the Council of Ministers at which it was decided to close all shops and suspend all commercial activities on Friday and Saturday each week as a result of COVID-19. However, the decision does not cover food shops, pharmacies, and restaurants which offer delivery services. The trade and industry ministry is responsible for specifying other businesses which can be excluded.
