The Economic Development Department of Abu Dhabi has directed owners of food shops, pharmacies, and bakeries to extend their working hours by 12 hours and operate for 24 hours throughout the whole week in all parts of the Emirate. The department issued a circular announcing directives by the National Authority for Crisis and Disasters and the Economy Ministry in line with the preventative measures being taken against COVID-19 The aim of the extension is reduce the crowding in these businesses.
