steps being taken to allow for the remote operation of the judicial system

The Justice Ministry announced steps being taken to allow for the remote operation of the judicial system by the introduction of new online services.

The Justice Ministry is now offering 120 services online through its web portal. The aim of these online services is to speed up official procedures and to reduce the use of paper. The ministry’s electronic services can be accessed on https://najiz.moj.gov.sa and smart device applications. There is a verification application and it is possible to complete documentation procedures during or outside official office hours through certified notaries.

In addition, services are offered in Arabic and English on the ministry’s telephone service 1950, or via email or on social media platforms. The ministry has said people within the Kingdom can call on 1950 and a telephone number 920001950 has been reserved for those living abroad. It is also possible to email 1950@moj.gov.sa. Full story
