Partial Lockdown Announced

Kuwait’s Government has announced a partial lock down. The decision was made by the country’s Cabinet and the Jeleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula areas of Kuwait City will be affected. The partial but total lock down in these areas will last for two weeks. Work at Ministries and Government institutions will also be suspended from 12 to 26 April. The country has already introduced an 11-hour curfew across the country from 5pm to 6am and banned all public gatherings. Schools and universities have also been suspended until August and all international flights stooped until further notice. Full story
