Quarterly Disclosure Deadline Extended

Oman’s Capital Market Authority has announced it has extended the quarterly disclosure deadline as the Sultanate continues to fight Coronavirus. Under the Sultanate’s Capital Market Regulations, listed companies have to release their initial quarterly results within 15 days and quarterly financial statements within 45 days after the completion of the quarter. The Authority’s Circular apples to those who had to disclose their quarterly results by 31 March. They will now have until 30 June to disclose their quarterly results. In addition, the company’s board of directors may approve the financial statements via video conferencing or by circulating a resolution. Full story
