The Minister of Finance in Saudi issued Saudi Arabia Ministerial Decision No. 3479/1441 dated 11/8/1441 H, an updated version of the implementing regulations of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 649/1440 – the Procurement Law. Among the amendments is a clause regarding extraordinary circumstances which include pandemics like the coronavirus. It would ease the procurement process during such times. The implementing regulations will be enforced starting 24 April 2020
