One Billion Riyal Initiative to Help Saudi Employees in the Private Sector

The Human Resources Fund Hadaf has confirmed that all the private sector establishments will be able to benefit from the “Employment Support” initiative which aims to help fund the wages of Saudi nationals who are working in the private sector starting from 1 May 2019. Private sector establishments will be able to benefit from this support provided that they have not been suspended by the Human Resources and Social Development Ministry or Hadaf. Hadaf has stated that the support will range from 30% to 50% of the monthly salary of the employee for two years. It will include the employees who have been employed after July 2019 with a back dated impact. The support will also covers new and future employment. Salaries covered will be able to range from 4,000 and 15,000 Riyals. Businesses will also be able to get additional support of 10% for employing females, disabled peoples, and for employment of nationals in areas outside the big cities. Full story
