industrial Regulation Law Compliance Urged

Qatar’s Commerce and Industry Ministry has warned local factories should comply with the Industrial Regulation Law.
This means goods produced and distributed locally should state the production and expiry dates, manufacturing country, product formula and establishment name.
Those which don’t are violating Article 22(5) of Qatar Law No. 20/2006, the Industrial Regulation Law.
In addition, the production of certain goods without obtaining approval is a violation of Article 5 of Qatar Law No. 20/2006
Factories who violate either of these provisions could be closed.
