Supreme Judicial Council Continues Suspension of Court Hearings

The Supreme Judicial Council has announced it will continue the suspension of court hearing for the Appeal Court, the First Instance Court, the Committees for Settling Rental Disputes, and the Committees for Settling Labour Disputes starting from 29 March 2020. The aim is to continue efforts combating  COVID-19. The council said in a statement that judges would continue to consider urgent matter cases and time-related cases. In addition, the court of cassation will continue to conduct its court hearing sessions at the times set previously.
