Ministerial Decision No. 280/2020 covering Emirati employees in the private sector has been issued. Under the terms of the Ministerial Decision a committee is to be established dealing with with the stabilization and organisation of Emirati employees in the private sector. Among other things, the committee has been tasked with developing special support packages which help to ensure UAE nationals remain in the labour market. It will also oversee and supervise the implementation of measures designed to protect citizens in this way.
