Residency Visas and Emirates IDs Will be Automatically Extended

The UAE’s Cabinet has announced residency visas and Emirates IDs will be automatically extended for three months for free.
This will apply to residency visas and Emirates IDs which expired on 1 March.
The three-month period will be reviewed and may be extended.
The Cabinet has also approved a waiver of administrative fines imposed on services provided by the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship. This will start on 1 April and will last for an initial three months but may be reviewed and extended.
In addition, Government services which expired on or after 1 March will also be extended from 1 April for three months. This will also be reviewed and may be extended.
The Decision applies to all Federal Government services, including documents, permits, licenses and commercial registers. Full story
