The UAE’s Central Bank has issued a warning about Coronavirus-related fraud. The Bank said customers should not share any personal or bank account information. They added the Bank never requests this type of information.
Customers should not respond to suspicious calls or messages or open hyperlinks which could be malicious. Any customer who receives any of these should inform the authorities immediately.
The Bank went on to say they are working with the relevant authorities to stop these fraudulent activities
