Prevention of Infectious Diseases Law Amended

Qatar’s Cabinet has approved an amendment to the country Infectious Diseases Law – Qatar Decree-Law No. 17/1990, which makes the wearing of face masks mandatory from 26 April until further notice It will be mandatory for Government and private sector employees and their customers as well as shoppers at food and catering outlets and contractors. Those who do not comply will be jailed for up to three years and/or fined up to 200,000 QR. Full story
