Permission Needed to Export Certain Medical Equipment

The Turkish government has decreed that companies will now need permission from the authorities to export medical equipment used for respiratory support, given rising domestic demand as a result of COVID-19.
The rule covers the export of ventilators and related equipment, oxygen concentrators, intubation tubes and intensive care monitors, and other medical equipment. The Turkish authorities had previously said they would also stop exporting locally made face masks.
