The Capital Market Authority has issued a number of exceptional procedures which allow listed companies to buy back their shares. The aim is to create more flexibility and to support local markets without negatively impacting trading. The chairman of the Authority, has said the authority has approved a number measures which will allow company to buy back their shares in light of the impact of the coronavirus. The measures are valid until 30 June 2020 and companies should submit their applications to the authority if they wish to buy back their shares.
