A range of transport and working hour changes have been implemented to combat the coronavirus in Turkey.
Turkish Airlines will halt all flights except those to Hong Kong, Moscow, Ethiopia, New York, and Washington from 27 March 2020. However, Cargo flights and domestic flights will continue.
Following a presidential Decree issued in the Official Gazette on 22 March 2020, employees of public institutions and organisations will be work remotely and on flexible shifts. The decision for state workers, who were previously being considered for administrative leave, will remain valid until a new one is made.
The Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) has also decided to limit the work hours of bank employees.
Bank employees in will now work from noon (0900GMT) to 5:00 p.m. (1500GMT).
