In its efforts to improve services for post trading and to boost the infrastructure for the capital market, Bahrain Clear has announced providing a new service to enable for the management of general assemblies of listed companies remotely.
The aim is to provide a number of digital solutions including facilitating access for investors and help boost participation in general assemblies.
The move follows the decision issued by the Trade, Industry and Tourism Ministry, Bahrain Decision No. 26/2020 and the circular issued by the Central Bank (OG/108/2020).
