The General Authority for Zakat and Tax has announced a number of initiatives to boost the economy and support the private sector during the coronavirus.
Monthly tax returns have been postponed.
In the case of businesses that submit monthly tax returns the tax returns for February 2020 should now be submitted on 30 June 2020. While those for March 2020 will be submitted on 31 July 2020.
Businesses that submit quarterly tax returns which are due to submit tax returns for the first quarter should now submit these on 31 July 2020.
